At the press conference ahead of the Intervision International Music Competition 2025, renowned Russian commentator Yana Churikova praised the performance of Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc. Ms. Churikova emphasized that Duc Phuc's performance was among the most elaborately staged and complex acts of this year's competition.

According to her, the Vietnamese team approached the preparation work seriously and professionally, with the participation of a dedicated director, creating an overall performance that was rich in artistic and technical merit.

“The Vietnamese team has its own choreographer and they approach the performance very seriously. Duc Phuc had to sing and pay attention to the choreography to perform perfectly. At the same time, the performance had multiple layers of direction, the scenes changed constantly, and the positions on stage also shifted. Therefore, he had to remember every detail accurately. This is a big challenge that not every artist can complete,” she commented.

Beyond just technical aspects, Yana Churikova particularly appreciated the Vietnamese singer's discipline and focus.

She said that Duc Phuc always pays attention to every small detail during rehearsals, constantly communicating with the crew about positioning, movement, and coordination with the dance troupe to ensure a seamless performance.

“I was truly impressed with Duc Phuc's discipline. The way he focused, walked onto the stage, executed every small detail precisely, constantly asking everyone for instructions on what to do and where to do it. When the television crew was involved, Duc Phuc even carefully researched each camera angle and which direction he needed to look. I like that kind of work ethic,” she emphasized.

Intervision 2025 (Russian: Интервидение 2025) is a music competition held at the Live Arena in Novoivanovskoye, a suburb of Moscow, Russian Federation, on September 20, 2025. The event brings together representatives from 23 countries, including host Russia and representatives from China, India, Cuba, Venezuela, Egypt, South Africa, and others. The winner of Intervision 2025 will be determined by a secret ballot from an international jury, receiving the Intervision crystal trophy and a prize of 30 million rubles (approximately $360,000 USD). All participating artists will receive a certificate from the organizers.

Intervision was previously held in Czechoslovakia from 1965 to 1968 and in Poland from 1977 to 1980. In 2025, the competition was relaunched with the aim of not only being a musical competition but also a special opportunity to develop international cultural and humanitarian cooperation, while promoting traditional artistic values.

The Vietnamese delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Musicians Association, singer Duc Phuc and his team. The song they entered was titled "Phu Dong Thien Vuong," composed by musician Ho Hoai Anh.
