According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, from June 2nd, the North Central and Central Central regions will enter a new heatwave, with many areas experiencing intense heat. Maximum temperatures will generally range from 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some places exceeding 37 degrees Celsius. Humidity will decrease, generally between 45 and 50%, resulting in prolonged hot and dry weather throughout the day.
Notably, from June 3rd to 5th, the heatwave is likely to expand to the Northern region, the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang City, and the eastern parts of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak.
Meteorological agencies predict that this heatwave could last for several more days, increasing the risk of wildfires, localized water shortages, and affecting people's health, especially outdoor workers, young children, and the elderly.
The meteorological sector advises people to regularly update weather forecasts, proactively take measures to protect themselves from the heat, stay hydrated, and limit outdoor work during peak hours from 11 am to 4 pm to ensure good health.
