The Ha Long Bay Management Board ( Quang Ninh ) has started applying a policy of exempting and reducing entrance fees to Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay from July 17, replacing previous regulations and instructions.

Accordingly, children under 1.2m tall (or children under 7 years old); people with severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities as prescribed in Article 11, Decree No. 28.2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on People with Disabilities will be exempted from entrance fees.
Ha Long Bay Management Board also offers a 50% discount on ticket prices for Vietnamese citizens aged 60 and over; children aged 7-12 are exempted from 20% of ticket prices.
To be granted a free pass or buy a discounted ticket to visit Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, visitors must present full identification documents (birth certificate or passport; disability certificate, ID card or CCCD...) at the ticket counter of Ha Long Bay Management Board at the cruise ship ports.

In case of using level 2 electronic identification account on smartphone, you must log in to the account and display the CCCD. When going through the ticket gates to visit Ha Long Bay, subjects exempted or reduced fees must present the exemption paper or reduced ticket according to regulations.
It is known that currently, the ticket price for visiting Ha Long Bay routes 1, 2 and 5 is 290,000 VND/ticket (including a scenic ticket of 250,000 VND and a passenger ticket through the port of 40,000 VND). The ticket price for visiting Ha Long Bay routes 3 and 4 is 240,000 VND/ticket (including a scenic ticket of 200,000 VND and a passenger ticket through the port of 40,000 VND).
