Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014. Returning to the beauty pageant at the age of 28, she received great support from colleagues and fans.

Producer Pharmacist Tien said that to find the most deserving new beauty queen, the Organizing Committee has invested heavily in side competitions to attract potential participants.
This year's competition has many changes and almost completely restructured the program. One of the new features this year is the national costume design competition called "Trang design".
The winning designer will design the national costume for the new beauty queen at Miss Universe 2024. In particular, the Organizing Committee is not afraid to spend a lot of money with the prize money for the first prize being 100 million VND, the second prize being 75 million VND and the third prize being 50 million VND.

The preliminary round of the competition recently took place with the challenge of sketching costumes based on the theme from the Organizing Committee. Many contestants from far away regions also attended.
