Opening up many study and career opportunities for Vietnamese students

The event "Learn about studying in Hong Kong - Study in Hong Kong" was successfully held at Vincom Mega Mall Smart City, attracting the attention of many parents and students.

The event was organized by 8 public universities in Hong Kong, China, with the theme "Transform yourself with studying abroad in Hong Kong, your chance to GET IT".

The program provided a vivid, panoramic picture of Asia's leading education system and directly connected young Vietnamese people with representatives from eight prestigious universities in Hong Kong, China.

The event was attended by Ms. Teresa Poon - Deputy Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, who emphasized the outstanding advantages of studying in Hong Kong and policies to support students after graduation.

“An education in Hong Kong (China) is more than just a degree – it is a stepping stone to a global career and a launchpad to success. The post-graduation accommodation policy for international students allows foreign students to stay in Hong Kong for up to 24 months after graduation to seek employment opportunities.”

The program was lively with many valuable information sharing sessions. Ms. Jessica Lo, from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), provided an overview, explaining why Hong Kong has always been a unique study destination, combining the quality of international education with a multicultural living environment.

Next, Dr. Edmond Tsang, Associate Professor of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), provided interesting insights into the factors to consider when choosing the right major and university.

Along with that, Professor Duy Trinh, Assistant Professor from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), shared more in-depth about special notes besides tuition and living expenses when deciding to study abroad.

To provide the most authentic perspective, two second-year students majoring in Computer Science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong and Le Phan Trung Quoc, also shared their stories and real experiences about life and study here.

Following the presentations, the most anticipated live exchange activity took place, where parents and students had the opportunity to learn more information with representatives from 8 leading universities: City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK); Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU); Lingnan University (LU); The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK); The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK); The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU); The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST); The University of Hong Kong (HKU).

The success of the event has added motivation and inspiration to Vietnamese students on their path to conquering knowledge and international careers.

Following the success in Hanoi, the journey "Learning about Studying Abroad in Hong Kong" will come to students in Ho Chi Minh City on October 11, at the central lobby on the ground floor, SC VivoCity Shopping Center (1058 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The event is open to parents and students without pre-registration, to take one step closer to their dream of studying abroad and exploring the world with Hong Kong's top education system.
