Vehicle owners who already have an ETC account for use on national highways and expressways can pass through the airport toll lane without needing to affix an additional tag or incurring any extra procedures, as the system is seamlessly integrated.
From November 21st, Noi Bai International Airport will conduct a trial run of phase 1 with 3 lanes of the cashless payment and automated non-stop collection system for entry/exit, stop, and parking services at the T1 passenger terminal parking lot.
Accordingly, the trial run of the cashless payment collection system and the automated non-stop collection system for parking services will be conducted for vehicles exiting from the elevated section of Terminal 1 (without using the parking lot), including 3 exit lanes.

All types of motor vehicles permitted to travel on public roads according to the law (except container trucks) are allowed to use the lane, including: vehicles subject to tolls, priority vehicles exempt from service fees, vehicles with monthly passes, and commercial transport vehicles under contract with Noi Bai International Airport.
The trial lanes accommodate flexible toll collection methods such as non-stop toll collection, cashless toll collection (payment via bank card), and cash toll collection for all vehicles subject to time-based service fees.
No lane fees will be charged for priority vehicles, vehicles with monthly passes, or commercial transport vehicles under contract with the Port.

Statistics show that nearly 15,000 vehicles pay cash at the toll booths at Noi Bai International Airport every day. Previously, toll collection for vehicles entering and exiting the airport was done manually, requiring drivers to stop at the entrance to get a card and pay in cash at the exit, easily leading to localized traffic congestion, especially during peak hours, holidays, and Tet (Lunar New Year).
The project to implement a cashless and automated non-stop payment collection system is being spearheaded by the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) at five high-traffic international airports (Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang , Phu Bai, and Cat Bi).
This aims to facilitate the rapid exit and access of vehicles to the station, contributing to traffic safety.
This is also one of the important items in the roadmap to enhance the application of information technology in airport operations to continuously improve and enhance the quality of service for passengers arriving at and departing from the airports.
On the first day of the trial run with 3 lanes, more than 11,000 vehicles successfully completed transactions. Noi Bai International Airport advises passengers to check the status of their ETC cards so that the card will be automatically debited when passing through these 3 lanes, ensuring convenient and quick traffic flow.
