A person in Ho Chi Minh City won the Vietlott jackpot of over 21 billion VND.

The lottery operator has confirmed that a resident of Ho Chi Minh City has just won the jackpot worth over 21 billion VND.

At noon on November 9th, a representative from the Vietnam Lottery Company (Vietlott) - Ministry of Finance announced that a customer in Ho Chi Minh City had just won the Lotto 5/35 jackpot worth over 21 billion VND.

Specifically, in draw number 266 of the Lotto 5/35 product, the jackpot was won with the numbers: 06-07-20-23-34, and the special number was 03. Thus, after deducting personal income tax as per regulations, the winner will receive over 19.2 billion VND.

Lotto 5/35 allows players to choose 5 numbers from the set of 01 to 35, along with a special number from 01 to 12, to form a winning number sequence worth 10,000 VND per set. Additionally, players can choose to play multiple sets of numbers to increase the number of winning combinations.

Matching just one special number earns players a consolation prize of 10,000 VND. For other prize categories, such as matching 3, 4, or 5 main numbers, the rewards increase from tens of thousands to tens of millions of VND. Matching all 5 main numbers and the special number simultaneously wins the cumulative jackpot, starting at 6 billion VND.

Lotto 5/35 is a lottery product with two draws per day at 1 PM and 9 PM, offering the chance to win the jackpot twice a day, seven days a week.

Recently, Vietlott awarded the Power 6/55 Jackpot 1 prize worth over 179 billion VND to Mr. NVH in Da Nang.

Mr. H., a teacher, habitually buys a few lottery tickets every day. After learning he had won, he was extremely surprised because he had only ever won small prizes of 30,000-50,000 VND before. With the substantial amount received, Mr. H. donated 2.5 billion VND to the Tam Tai Viet Fund to support social welfare programs. He will also use the remaining money to help his relatives and family.

On October 23rd, Vietlott also confirmed that a winning ticket in draw number 1422 of the Mega 6/45 product was worth nearly 134 billion VND. This lucky ticket was issued in Khanh Hoa province.

The winning lottery numbers were: 05-11-12-24-28-44. Therefore, after deducting personal income tax as per regulations, the winner will receive over 120 billion VND.
