Hue, with its inherent peaceful and tranquil charm, is still damp after the first summer night's rain, occasionally punctuated by the chirping of cicadas. At 5:30 AM, the sky is still dim, the night lights are still intact, and the streets are sparsely populated with pedestrians and exercisers. Light and shadow intertwine, creating a breathtakingly beautiful moment. April is also the time when Hue's flowers begin to bloom. Fresh lotus blossoms fill the lakes, emitting a pleasant fragrance. Golden cassia flowers carpet the brick streets, giving Hue a dreamy and romantic feel. Pure white frangipani flowers fall abundantly on the pathways… The colors of the flowers adorn the moss-covered buildings, deeply marked by history.

Author Nguyen Van Long captured peaceful moments in the South Bank of the Perfume River park and Truong Tien Bridge in his photo album "A Peaceful Morning in Hue". The collection was submitted to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .

The mornings in Hue at the end of spring and the beginning of summer possess a strangely peaceful beauty.

Lost amidst the ancient capital, what people love most about Hue is the breathtakingly peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

Along the Perfume River, on the bridges spanning the river, and especially in the Ngo Mon Square area of Hue, are places where the people of the ancient capital choose a small corner to enjoy the fresh air and exercise every morning.

Hue has always been like this; amidst the hurried pace of urbanization, Hue remains serene. Hue is also a unique city, because upon arriving, everyone can find moments of tranquility rarely found elsewhere.
