HNP - On September 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Mai commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, affirming continued solidarity to build a prosperous homeland. Attending the Congress were Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city Pham Anh Tuan and 165 delegates representing all walks of life in the area.

The political report presented to the Congress showed that in the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Mai commune effectively implemented emulation movements and campaigns, affirming its central role in the great national unity bloc, and being a bridge between the Party, the State and the people. The commune Fatherland Front participated in commenting on 8 reports on socio-economic development, national defense and security and 26 thematic reports, with nearly 80 comments. The movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" was effectively implemented, supporting 18 households with a budget of 797 million VND; at the same time, supporting 10 cases of housing for meritorious people, making Xuan Mai no longer poor households, no longer temporary and dilapidated houses.

Cultural and social movements achieved remarkable results: 100% of villages achieved the title of "Cultural Village"; 92% of households achieved the title of "Cultural Family"; the cremation rate reached 77.3%. People supported more than 3.2 billion VND for new rural construction; the "For the Poor" Fund reached 383 million VND, the "For Vietnam's Seas and Islands" Fund reached nearly 130 million VND, the "Repaying Gratitude" Fund reached nearly 258 million VND. In the 2025-2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Mai commune determined to continue promoting its central role in the great national unity bloc; performing well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; promoting democracy, supervision, and social criticism; preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity; contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government; promoting socio-economic development, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, and maintaining security and order.

The commune Fatherland Front strives to organize at least 3 monitoring programs, 3 social criticism sessions, 2 conferences to contribute ideas to Party and government building every year; each residential area has 1 typical project or task. The Xuan Mai commune Fatherland Front mobilized about 2.5 billion VND, of which the "For the Poor" Fund reached 1.5 billion VND. Strive for 80% of the deceased to be cremated, 90% of cases to be reconciled; 95% of Front and mass organization cadres to be trained in skills, by the end of the term, 100% of cadres will have professional qualifications.
