MU sells 3 players

MU continues to streamline the squad as Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir are expected to leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

MU will part ways with Onana or Bayindir after signing Lammens.

According to British media, MU plans to say goodbye to 3 more players. The transfer window in England has closed, but there is still a chance for the Old Trafford club to liquidate players, because the Saudi Arabia market is open until September 23 and the Turkish market is still a week away.

The Red Devils spent £18m to sign Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on deadline day, leaving coach Ruben Amorim with four first-team goalkeepers. Lammens is likely to be benched, while Onana or Bayindir will have to leave.

Onana has yet to show the ability to be worthy of the role of a mainstay at Old Trafford. Bayindir also continuously makes mistakes and often shows instability when given the opportunity to start in the first 3 Premier League matches of the season.

In addition, MU also has 39-year-old goalkeeper Tom Heaton in the squad. Obviously, keeping 4 goalkeepers is clearly redundant. Therefore, the "Red Devils" are looking to push one of the two goalkeepers to Türkiye or Saudi Arabia.

Turkish media reported that Trabzonspor had offered Onana a loan to replace Ugurcan Cakir, who had just moved to Galatasaray. MU were willing to consider the deal, but it was unclear whether it would be successful or not.

Tyrell Malacia is also on the list of players to be sold. The Dutch defender almost joined Elche on loan but the deal fell through at the last minute. ESPN revealed that MU will look to "get rid" of Malacia this summer.
