In 2025, Phan Thiet ward was assigned a budget revenue target of over 197.1 billion VND by the Provincial People's Council, the highest among the 124 communes, wards, and special zones (of which over 87.1 billion VND was for basic taxes). Therefore, the locality identified this as a key and important task and focused on continuous leadership and direction to ensure that the local budget revenue target for 2025 is met according to the provincial assignment.
To continue developing socio -economic conditions and improving people's lives, localities need to clearly identify their potential, advantages, and resources. Based on this, they can set feasible targets and tasks, affirm their leading position, create breakthroughs, and contribute to the overall development of the province.

These include focusing on leading socio-economic development to maintain its position as a locality making significant contributions to the socio-economic development, with trade and services as the main economic sector.

At the same time, it facilitates businesses and households in the area to develop production and business activities, strongly apply information technology, digital transformation, and organize smart sales methods…
Strengthening the management of revenue sources.
On the local side, Mr. Do Huu Phuoc - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward, said: Right from its establishment, Phan Thiet Ward has continued to focus on achieving a "dual goal". That is, to both effectively operate the post-merger administrative apparatus and complete the goals and targets for 2025 and the 2020-2025 term, including the task of revenue collection.
To achieve the assigned targets, the People's Committee of the ward has proposed several solutions. One of the important tasks identified by the locality is to strengthen the management of revenue sources and strictly control revenue from taxes, fees, and charges. Simultaneously, they will review and urge organizations and individuals to fulfill their obligations to pay taxes, fees, and charges fully and on time.
To effectively achieve the revenue collection target, the locality aims to efficiently exploit revenue sources by creating favorable conditions for businesses and business households to develop.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward expressed his determination.
The People's Committee of the ward also proposed solutions to strictly handle cases of tax evasion and late payment. It will focus on closely managing revenue from land and public assets. Specifically, it will review, inventory, and reassess the value of public assets to ensure efficient exploitation and prevent losses. Furthermore, it will strengthen inspections and audits to detect and promptly handle violations of laws on taxes, fees, charges, land, and public assets.
In addition, the ward shortened the time for processing administrative procedures and mobilized the participation of citizens and businesses in revenue collection. At the same time, the ward organized dialogue sessions to listen to the opinions of citizens and businesses in order to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles in the revenue collection process.

Regarding the collection of non- agricultural land use tax, the leaders of Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee proposed the following solution: After receiving the non-agricultural land use tax notice from the tax office, the Ward People's Committee will proceed with implementation and provide guidance to authorized tax collection officers (in neighborhoods) if electronic receipts are to be used, in order to quickly collect taxes on time and prevent revenue loss for the state budget.
In addition, the ward will continue to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the budget revenue plan, and promptly adjust solutions to suit the actual situation.
With synchronized, decisive, and groundbreaking solutions, the leaders of Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee are confident that they will complete the assigned budget revenue plan for 2025. At the same time, this will create a foundation for state budget revenue collection in 2026.
In 2025, Phan Thiet ward was allocated a budget of 197.112 billion VND, of which over 87.1 billion VND was for basic taxes. In the first seven months of 2025, the ward collected over 63.5 billion VND out of 87.1 billion VND, reaching 72.64%. The estimated revenue by the end of 2025 is 97.1 billion VND out of 87.1 billion VND, reaching 111.39%. Specifically, the total state budget revenue for the first seven months of the year was 132.767 billion VND, reaching 67.35%.
