Thunderstorms in Hanoi caused a series of trees to fall and crush cars.

At around 6pm in many areas in Hanoi such as Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri, Thuong Tin, Hai Ba Trung, Thanh Xuan... there was heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms causing a series of trees to fall.

Recorded on a series of streets such as Lang, Van Tan, Nguyen Phan Chanh, Bang Liet, Bui Quoc Khai, trees fell on cars... traffic was blocked.

At around 7pm tonight, a thunderstorm with strong winds knocked down many trees in the Linh Dam peninsula area, Hoang Liet, Hanoi.

At the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho - Nguyen Duy Trinh, an old tree fell and crushed a car.

Fallen trees caused traffic congestion in the area.

Currently, people and authorities are processing the scene.
