Summer swimming classes are not only a place to practice skills but also a useful playground for children.
It is not difficult to see the growing interest of parents in developing their children’s talents and skills from an early age. Many families consider summer talent classes as an opportunity for children to experience, interact, have healthy entertainment and practice themselves during their time off from school.
Therefore, when the school bell rings to mark the end of the school year, many parents start looking for useful summer activities for their children to not only have fun but also learn and develop skills. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, a parent whose child is taking an art class, shared: “Summer vacation is the right time for children to both rest and participate in useful activities. Instead of letting the summer vacation pass by at home with the phone or TV, I proactively registered my child for gifted classes from the beginning of June to open up a summer full of joy.”
According to records, every afternoon, when the summer sun has cooled down, Bien Dong swimming pool (Ward 3, Tan An City, Long An Province) becomes a bustling destination for dozens of children. Groups of students wearing life jackets and swimming goggles, chattering, follow their teachers into the water. The splashing sound and the instructor's voice echo throughout the area, creating a bustling, joyful atmosphere. Swimming popularization coach - Tran Trung Quoc said: "The children are divided into groups according to age and skills, under the guidance of the coach. Swimming is a necessary skill that every child should learn. Because, in addition to the benefits of health training and physical development, learning to swim is also an essential life skill, helping children proactively prevent drowning accidents - a danger that is always lurking".
Not only swimming classes, other talent classes such as martial arts, aerobics, chess, etc. are also organized simultaneously, meeting the diverse needs of children and parents. Classes are divided by age, flexible study time, teachers are professionals, rich in experience.
Learning to draw helps children develop their painting skills.
At the drawing class at the Provincial Children's House, the classroom space is filled with colors and laughter, children are free to create through each brush stroke and line. This is not only an art playground but also a place to stimulate children's imagination and innocent emotions. "Learning to draw helps me feel more relaxed and creative. I like to use colors to express what I think" - Huynh Ngoc My Tien (Ward 7, Tan An City) excitedly said.
In addition to creating a useful playground, summer talent classes also play an important role ineducating soft skills, training personality and preparing children for their future development. Each talent activity, from drawing, chess to swimming or martial arts,... contains valuable lessons about perseverance, concentration, discipline and teamwork. The talent class environment is also a place for children to expand their social relationships, communicate and get to know their peers.
Ms. Truong Khac Uyen - teacher in charge of the drawing class at the Provincial Children's House, shared: "Many children were initially shy and timid, but after a few lessons, they boldly spoke up and communicated with their friends. Some children even demonstrated outstanding drawing skills. That is a great motivation for me to accompany them on their journey to develop their talents."
Learning is not just about sitting in class or reading books, but also about real-life experiences and equipping life skills. Summer is a precious time for children to explore the world around them, try new things and especially enjoy a true childhood - full of joy, innocence and dreams./.
