What's attractive about Lang Biang pink grass festival season before Da Lat Flower Festival 2024?

On November 8, Mr. Cil Poh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lac Duong District ( Lam Dong ) said that in response to the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival, the district organized the 4th Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival, lasting for 2 weeks from November 23 to December 6, 2024, with new activities, expected to bring unique experiences to local people and visitors.

The opening ceremony of Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival took place at the pink grass hill next to the poetic Dan Kia - Suoi Vang lake, at 8:30 a.m. on November 23.

Pink grass next to green pine forests attracts tourists from mid-November to early December every year.

This year, at the central stage of the Pink Grass Hill area, traditional costumes of ethnic groups of Lac Duong district will be performed, to introduce and honor the beauty of ethnic culture, creating a colorful highlight for the program; contributing to preserving local cultural values.

Coming to Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival, visitors can freely check-in next to the unique decorative miniatures around the pink grass hill area. Especially, there is a space to promote and introduce OCOP products of Lac Duong district.

Another exciting activity that is always awaited by locals and tourists is the bareback horse race. Barefoot riders from villages in the district will participate, promising to be an exciting performance, demonstrating the endurance and dexterity of the riders.

In addition, the Lang Biang Peak climbing competition starts from the Lang Biang Tourist Area parking lot; through the tournament, participants can experience the wild natural beauty of Lang Biang Peak and test their endurance.

On the night of November 29, at Pham Hung Square, Lac Duong Town, Acoustis Lang Biang and Friends music night took place. The outdoor concert with rustic melodies from familiar artists will bring cozy and memorable moments to the audience.

From November 23 to December 6 at the Lac Duong District OCOP Product Exhibition Center (Lac Duong Town), the Lang Biang Rose Festival and the Culinary - Wine Competition with the theme "Flavor of Lang Biang Mountains and Forests" will take place.
