Heavy rain caused flooding in many areas of Van Ho area.

Due to the impact of storm No. 10, on September 29, heavy rains occurred in the communes of Van Ho, To Mua, Song Khua, Xuan Nha, causing flooding in many places, with rainfall ranging from 50-90 mm. Many traffic routes were temporarily cut off, making travel and daily activities of the people difficult.

According to initial records, prolonged heavy rains caused many areas of crops, residential areas, and schools to be flooded; rocks and soil from the slopes slid into several households. In Tin Toc village, To Mua commune, heavy rains and floods swept away one person and left him missing. Currently, authorities are trying to find the victim. Heavy rains also caused rocks and soil to slide from the slopes onto the road, at km 174, National Highway 6, in Van Ho commune, causing local traffic congestion.

The bridge at Na Cha village, To Mua commune, has strong currents making traffic difficult.

On some roads, heavy rains caused water to flood the road surface, 40-60 cm deep. Road management units have arranged for people to guard and place warning signs at both ends to ensure traffic safety. Currently, the authorities of Van Ho, To Mua, Song Khua, and Xuan Nha communes have directed the "4 on-site" forces to urgently evacuate households in areas at risk of being affected by natural disasters to safe places; deploy temporary solutions to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

Currently, the rain is still continuing. The Civil Defense Command of Van Ho, To Mua, Song Khua, and Xuan Nha communes recommends that people not be subjective, limit movement through flooded areas, and closely monitor weather developments to respond promptly.
