On the morning of April 13, at Aeon Mall Ha Dong ( Hanoi ), the 2024 Vietnam - Japan Cultural Festival and the 2nd Vietnam Yosakoi Festival took place.
The event was organized by the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Association in coordination with a number of agencies and units of Vietnam and Kochi province (Japan).

The 2024 Yosakoi Festival features more than 800 dancers from the North, Central and South regions and 5 Yosakoi teams from Japan performing together, bringing vibrant, colorful and energetic performances.
Throughout the Festival, participants have the opportunity to experience famous games from the land of the rising sun such as Japanese Go, Japanese chess or the wooden Koma top.
In particular, at the Vietnamese cultural exchange booth, audiences can experience and make their own traditional Dong Ho paintings with the guidance of Vietnamese artisans. Young people can also read attractive comic books from Kim Dong Publishing House.

Yosakoi is a dance created by Japan after World War II to lift people's spirits and overcome life's crisis and hardship. This is a joyful dance, attracting many participants with an optimistic spirit and strong vitality, with smiles always on their lips, transmitting positive energy.
Yosakoi gradually spread throughout Japan, was welcomed by everyone and became one of the unique cultural features of Japan. Today, the Yosakoi festival in Japan has become a prominent cultural event, attracting tourists from all over the world to attend.

Along with the development of cultural exchange between the two countries, Yosakoi is widely known in Vietnam, especially in large cities and attracts many participants. Up to now, many Yosakoi clubs in Vietnam have been established and are growing stronger in both quantity and quality.
The 2nd Vietnam Yosakoi Festival and the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Festival took place on April 13 and 14.
