Hojlund's attractive salary at Napoli

According to the Daily Mail , Napoli have stepped up their pursuit of Hojlund following Romelu Lukaku's injury. The Serie A side believe that with their charisma and the ideal environment for former Premier League players, they can convince Hojlund to play.

Italian media also reported that Napoli will increase Hojlund's salary. Currently, the striker earns around £2.4 million a year at MU. If he moves to Napoli, Hojlund is expected to pocket £3.9 million a year. The Italian team hopes that this salary increase will be enough to convince Hojlund to join the team.

Hojlund is also willing to accept Napoli's offer, as he wants to determine his long-term future at his new club. Manager Ruben Amorim's decision to not use him in the first two Premier League matches of the season has changed Hojlund's mind about staying at Old Trafford.

According to Corriere Dello Sport , midfielder Scott McTominay called Hojlund to convince him to join the Serie A team. During their time together at MU, McTominay and Hojlund made 34 appearances together.
