Hojlund's attractive salary at Napoli

According to the Daily Mail , Napoli have intensified their pursuit of Hojlund following Romelu Lukaku's injury. The Serie A club believe that with their appeal and ideal environment for former Premier League players, they can persuade Hojlund to join them.

Italian media also reported that Napoli will increase Hojlund's salary. Currently, the striker earns around £2.4 million per year at Manchester United. If he joins Napoli, Hojlund is expected to pocket £3.9 million per year. The Italian club hopes that this salary increase will be enough to convince Hojlund to join the team.

Hojlund is also willing to accept Napoli's offer, as he wants to secure a long-term future at a new club. Manager Ruben Amorim's decision not to use him in the first two Premier League games of the season has made Hojlund reconsider staying at Old Trafford.

Napoli are reportedly offering a loan deal worth £4.3 million, with an option to buy for £34.5 million. If this deal goes through, Manchester United would suffer a significant financial loss, as Hojlund joined the club for £72 million.

According to Corriere Dello Sport , midfielder Scott McTominay called Hojlund to persuade him to join the Serie A team. During their time together at Manchester United, McTominay and Hojlund made 34 appearances together.
