In the Orekhovsky direction of the Zaporozhye front, the Russian army is actively working to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions. This sector of the front is one of the few areas that the Ukrainian command has managed to hold after the counteroffensive last summer. However, attempts by the Ukrainian forces to further expand their positions in the area of the villages of Verbovoye and Rabotino have been unsuccessful.

Over the past months, Russian forces have held their ground, effectively repelling Ukrainian attacks. According to military reporters, Russian attack groups have advanced on Rabotino from the east and south, forcing Ukrainian units to retreat.

Vladimir Rogov, head of the “We are with Russia” movement, confirmed that the Russian army has successfully taken control of the southern part of Rabotino and fierce battles are still taking place.

According to AVP, military experts note that the Ukrainian command may be preparing to withdraw all forces from Rabotino to new defense lines.
