Even when parents have allowed their children to go to Blackpink 's concert, there are still many problems surrounding this story. Safety, ticket scalping... make parents worried.
While the children are excited to be allowed to go see the Blackpink concert, their parents are even more "restless".
Safety concerns
It is known that most of Blackpink's fans are teenage boys and girls (13 - 19 years old), so it is not safe to go to a big show held at a stadium.
On the forum "Going to the Born Pink concert in Vietnam", a young audience member born in 2011 shared: "My parents allowed me to go to the Blackpink concert but they couldn't go with me so I had to go alone. I want to ask 1-2 older sisters to accompany me. I live in Can Tho ".
"The child asked someone online to take him to Hanoi while he was all the way from Can Tho. As a parent, I was really worried when I heard this news. If something unexpected happened, I would regret it," said Ms. Nguyen Giang (Nam Dinh).

Ms. Nguyen Giang has 2 children (10 years old and 8 years old) who are also fans of Blackpink. She said that her two children at home also wanted to go to the Blackpink concert, but because they were too young, they did not agree.
Blackpink's concert was held at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi with a capacity of more than 40,000 seats. Not to mention it is divided into many areas with VIP areas, standing areas, areas near the stage...
"A concert with dozens, even hundreds of thousands of people like that is very chaotic and messy. I'm not talking about the organization, but even with parents accompanying, it's difficult to control the situation at that time" - Ms. Giang shared.
Parents are upset about ticket scalpers and black market tickets.
Unlike Ms. Giang, Mr. Trong Thanh (Hanoi) is willing to research to let his 10-year-old daughter go to the Blackpink concert. However, the problem that worries him is the situation of ticket scalpers and black market tickets with sky-high prices.
Mr. Trong Thanh shared: "I want to reward my daughter with a Blackpink ticket because of her good academic performance in the past year. However, when I consulted the forums, I saw that most of them were ticket brokers, accepting to hunt for tickets at high prices, and there was also information about Blackpink ticket scams. Ticket prices were inflated even though they were not on sale yet. Not to mention there were countless scams. Even parents are dizzy, what about young people?".
On groups, it is not difficult to find people who camp tickets and book tickets for others with attractive offers such as 100% successful bookings, refunds if not booked... To ensure getting the desired seat, fans may have to pay an additional 200,000 - 3 million VND to pay those who camp tickets. Many fans have even fallen into the trap of scams and lost all their deposit money because they were gullible.
As a loving father who is trying every way to buy tickets for his daughter, Mr. Thanh is very upset by this information.
Worry when children are crazy about idols
Another problem arises, young teenagers also tend to want to assert their ego, to show that they are grown up and can take care of themselves. The more they are forbidden, the stronger and more fiercely they react.
A 9th grade girl shared on the forum "Going to the Born Pink concert in Vietnam": "I wanted to go see Blackpink but my parents wouldn't let me. I used my savings, calculated the ticket price, travel expenses and other expenses. I promised to study hard but still couldn't go."
Or many young people are crazy about their idols so they tend to find every way to go see their idols perform.
Regarding this issue, Ms. Giang also confided: "I also read that there are many cases where children who are crazy fans argue with their parents and run away from home without permission. I am really worried about my two children at home."
Children only think about meeting their idols, while parents have a myriad of worries just because of a show.
