Washington can end the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict immediately because Kiev is completely dependent on the West in this conflict, according to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“If the Americans want it, peace will come tomorrow morning,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, saying the US wanted the conflict in Ukraine to continue and Washington had failed to explain its reasons to allies at the NATO summit.

Mr Orban said that at this point, Ukraine's economy was devastated, heavily dependent on Western allies for finance and weapons.
Hungary's leader warned that if NATO were to admit Ukraine now, it would trigger a world war. Mr Orban also highlighted the risks posed by Western countries sending heavy military equipment to Kiev.
Prime Minister Orban predicted that the Ukraine conflict would drag on and EU countries, including Hungary, would suffer economic impacts and high inflation.
At a NATO summit in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, NATO said Ukraine could join the military alliance at some point in the future but did not give a specific timeline and did not immediately invite Kiev.
NATO's stance highlights divisions among the organization's 31 members over timing or a direct invitation for Ukraine to join. Kiev has been pushing for quick entry, with NATO security guarantees in place.
NATO members in Eastern Europe have backed Kiev's position, arguing that placing Ukraine under NATO's collective security umbrella is the best way to prevent Russia from attacking again.
Meanwhile, countries like the US and Germany have been more cautious, fearing that accelerating the process of admitting Ukraine could drag NATO into direct conflict with Russia and potentially spark a global war.
