(PLVN) - In order to promote the local potential and advantages in tourism, in recent years, Na Hang district (Tuyen Quang) has proactively and actively upgraded tourism infrastructure, built programs to exploit cultural values and stimulate demand, gradually turning tourism into an important economic sector.
Na Hang District (Tuyen Quang) is endowed by nature with majestic natural landscapes, a system of primeval forests, rich vegetation, a diverse cultural community, imbued with national identity with many potentials and strengths for tourism development. The district has been implementing many solutions, effectively exploiting potentials, focusing on developing eco- tourism , community tourism and festivals with unique identities, making tourism a key economic sector contributing to the development of the local economy and society.

There are currently 12 ethnic groups living in Na Hang district, each with its own customs, practices and cultural identities. In recent years, Na Hang has always focused on preserving, conserving and promoting the traditional cultural identities of ethnic minorities in the area. The district has developed a plan to restore traditional brocade weaving villages, especially villages and communes that have weaving professions such as Da Vi, Thuong Nong, Yen Hoa, Hong Thai... Brocade weaving training classes are opened in communes to create souvenirs from local traditional brocade, while actively preserving traditional dishes and specialties of ethnic minorities in the area.
In communes with community cultural tourism villages such as Hong Thai, Thanh Tuong, Nang Kha, the Management Board of the local cultural tourism villages has established ethnic art clubs and teams to regularly practice folk art performances such as singing and dancing Pao Dung of the Dao people, Then and Coi singing of the Tay people, and Khen dancing of the H'Mong people. Localities recreate traditional rituals of ethnic minorities (Cap sac ceremony, Fire dancing festival...), and folk games of the ethnic minorities (catching fish with bare hands, playing Pao, throwing con...) for tourists to experience in Na Hang.

Mr. To Viet Hiep, Chairman of the People's Committee of Na district, said: In 2023, the district has proactively and actively implemented tourism stimulus activities in the area and responded to the opening of the tourism year of Tuyen Quang province in 2023 such as: Na Hang Fragrance Festival, announcing geographical indications for Na Hang Corn Wine products, the record for the longest pear blossom route in Vietnam, trial opening of the forest road experience route (Bo Kim - Na Nieng) and activities responding to the 14th heritage tourism program, Thanh Tuyen Festival in 2023. The district focuses on organizing promotional activities, inviting experts to advise on methodical and sustainable tourism development, effectively exploiting the Na Hang-Lam Binh National Special Scenic Spot.
Na Hang takes natural ecotourism as the center to develop a series of resort tourism products, experiences, forest ecotourism, spiritual tourism, community tourism associated with conservation, promotion of traditional cultural values imbued with ethnic identities. In addition, the locality has introduced new and modern tourism products such as paragliding, hot air ballooning, bicycle racing, jet skiing, fishing competitions on Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir... into trials to attract domestic and foreign tourists to the district.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Na Hang has implemented many cultural, artistic, sports and festival activities to serve political tasks, holidays and New Year and respond to the opening of the tourism year of Tuyen Quang province, especially the special art program at the opening ceremony of the Na Hang Fragrance Festival with the theme "Shimmering legend of the lake on the mountain", the activities within the framework of the festival attracted a large number of visitors.
Speed up the implementation of projects, tourist attractions in the area, connecting traffic routes, implement plans to plant trees, flowers... to renovate and beautify landscape spaces, protect the environment. The work of promoting, cooperating in investment, promoting and developing tourism is promoted, focusing on improving service quality, training, fostering and training to improve the qualifications of human resources working in tourism, strengthening state management of services and tourism in the area, organizing propaganda and guiding people to effectively implement Resolution 09/NQ-HDND dated December 20, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on a number of policies to support tourism development.

Na Hang strives to welcome more than 350,000 tourists by 2025, including more than 2,000 international visitors, with tourism revenue reaching more than 430 billion VND. Building the Na Hang-Lam Binh National Special Scenic Area into an eco-tourism and community tourism center, building at least one unique cultural village associated with tourism development, building two unique and distinctive tourism products with their own brands.
