Nguyen Van Anh, born in 1996, is a familiar face to V.League fans. He grew up at the HAGL training center, in the same generation as players like Cong Phuong, Van Toan, Tuan Anh, Hong Duy, Xuan Truong... Van Anh can play well in the left wing and center forward positions. However, last season, Van Anh did not have many opportunities to play when the team from Thanh Nam had many experienced players in attack.
Meanwhile, Tran Quang Thinh is a product of the CAND training center. He used to play for the U23 Vietnam team and joined Nam Dinh on loan from CAHN. However, similar to his time at his old team, Quang Thinh could not show much at Thien Truong Stadium. He mainly played as a reserve player and was rarely given the opportunity to play by coach Vu Hong Viet.
The departure of these two players reflects the fierce competition in the Nam Dinh squad, especially when the team is aiming high in the 2025/26 season with participation in 5 arenas. Nam Dinh is cleaning up its force to prepare for adding quality new players, while creating opportunities for more suitable players.
