Thinking he'd just quickly pick up the delivery and leave, he didn't remove the key. Just as he went inside, before the customer could answer the phone, Mr. P. turned around and saw the man approaching and getting into his car.
"At first, I thought it was a neighbor or friend joking around. In the blink of an eye, the man sped away," Mr. P. recounted.
The victim shouted for help and chased after the thief. Nearby neighbors also took Mr. P. on their motorbike to search for the culprit, but without success.
According to security camera footage from a nearby house, the thief had been loitering around the area beforehand, waiting for an opportunity to commit the crime.
"The cart contained 34 orders, worth approximately 7-10 million VND. I bought the stolen cart in 2007 for over 20 million VND," the victim shared.
He added: "Now I just hope everything gets over soon and I can find my motorbike. If I don't find it, I'll have to borrow money to buy a new one so I can continue working."
Following the incident, a local resident posted the video on social media. The video received hundreds of interactions.
According to locals, Mr. P. has a pleasant personality and is never unpleasant when delivering goods. "Knowing that I often donate to charity, he immediately went home and packed a large bag for me," a local resident shared.
