Improve the efficiency of cooperative operations

In recent years, the emulation movement to develop collective economy and cooperatives (HTX) associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has been promoted, promoting the patriotic emulation spirit of all cadres, members and workers. Cooperatives have implemented many effective models, promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual support for development.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung - Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union said that in recent years, the Provincial Cooperative Union has launched and its member cooperatives and units have promoted emulation movements associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Including the emulation movement of collective economy, cooperatives and improving the capacity and knowledge of the management staff of cooperatives participating in the National Target Program on new rural construction for the period 2021 - 2025; emulation to carry out the task of developing collective economy, cooperatives annually and in the period 2021 - 2025. Thereby, many typical collective economic and cooperative models have emerged in both production and business activities and studying and following Uncle Ho in each field of activity.

The common point of most cooperatives is that they have constantly innovated their methods and organization of activities, have close connections and links with each other to develop together, contributing to the development of the collective economy and cooperatives of the province. In particular, many cooperatives have actively implemented effective production and business models. Typically, Ninh Dong Safe Vegetable Production Cooperative (Ninh Hoa town) built the model "Ninh Dong VietGAP safe clean vegetable value chain according to the greenhouse model" on an area of ^2,300m2 , meeting the demand for clean vegetables for the market, bringing in revenue in 2024 of more than 12 billion VND, creating stable jobs for more than 30 workers. Ninh Hoa People's Credit Fund also implemented effective operations, with outstanding loans by the end of 2024 reaching more than 98.7 billion VND, no overdue debt, and accumulated profits of more than 1.7 billion VND.

Meanwhile, Dien Loc Agricultural Cooperative (Dien Khanh District) has implemented an internal credit model, helping members easily access capital, serving agricultural production, improving economic efficiency, and at the same time demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support in the community. Some other cooperatives in Dien Khanh District have developed an agricultural model combined with eco-tourism, attracting tourists and contributing to increasing people's income, demonstrating creativity in local economic development, while contributing to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

In Nha Trang City, there are operating models of ASIA Transport Cooperative, Nha Trang Transport Cooperative, Quyet Thang Transport Cooperative, 1/5 Transport Cooperative, Hoa Binh Transport Cooperative with more than 900 vehicles and 850 members, creating stable jobs for more than 2,000 workers; average revenue at the end of 2022 - 2023 reached more than 350 billion VND. In addition, there are many typical cooperative models in other localities on aquaculture, high-tech salt production, service agriculture, community tourism, high-tech marine farming, etc.

In addition to focusing on improving operational efficiency, cooperatives have promoted community-oriented activities. For example, every year, Ninh Dong Safe Vegetable Production Cooperative allocates funds to carry out meaningful social charity work, such as: Giving gifts to the elderly and people in difficult circumstances in the area; awarding employees' children with good academic achievements... Or Ninh Hoa People's Credit Fund has well implemented the spirit of mutual love and affection through community and social activities, such as: Sponsoring 10 scholarships worth 5 million VND for the "Lighting up Dreams" Fund of Dinh Tien Hoang Secondary School in Ninh Hiep Ward; supporting 10 health insurance packages for students in Ninh Quang Commune worth more than 5 million VND; supporting the program "Full Moon Festival - Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" in 2024 in Ninh Quang Commune worth 5 million VND...

Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung said that in recent years, the emulation movement to develop collective economy and cooperatives associated with the implementation of Directive No. 05, dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and Conclusion No. 01, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 has been promoted. The work of discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models has received attention and focus from cooperatives. Many typical examples and outstanding cooperative models have been commended, honored and rewarded at the collective economy and cooperative forums in 2024 and 2025 organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance and the province. The commendation work has been innovative, quality and effective; attention has been paid to rewarding small collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and outstanding achievements in performing their tasks; priority has been given to rewarding people working directly and exemplary members in cooperatives. In the coming years, along with regular tasks, in the context of the strong development of the private economy as it is today, the Provincial Cooperative Union will continue to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style associated with collective economic models and cooperatives, meeting the development requirements in the new situation and the resolution of the Central Executive Committee on private economic development.
