Enhancing leadership capacity for branch secretaries

Attending the conference were Bui Huyen Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Thanh Xuan District Party Committee; Nguyen Hong Nhat, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee's Organization Department; and Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

The contestants participated in the multiple-choice question section of the test.

In the competition, 8 contestants selected from the preliminary round participated in 3 parts: greetings, answering multiple-choice questions, and answering general knowledge questions and handling situational problems.

According to Bui Huyen Mai, Secretary of the Thanh Xuan District Party Committee, the 2024 Thanh Xuan District Excellent Party Branch Secretary and Skillful Mass Mobilization Competition is an activity of great political significance for the entire Party organization.

Speaking at the competition, Bui Huyen Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Secretary of the Thanh Xuan District Party Committee, said that the 2024 Thanh Xuan District Excellent Party Branch Secretary and Skilled Mass Mobilization Competition is an activity of great political significance for the entire Party Committee.

This is an opportunity for branch secretaries to interact, learn, and exchange experiences on professional skills, theory, and practice in grassroots Party building work, aiming to further enhance the awareness and sense of responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, and the people regarding the core position, leadership role, functions, and tasks of Party branches; and also to improve the knowledge, skills, and professional work of branch secretaries.

Secretary of Thanh Xuan District Party Committee Bui Huyen Mai presented the first prize to Mr. Tran Dinh Nghi - Secretary of Branch 6 ( thuộc Khương Đình Ward Party Committee)

Through this competition, higher-level Party committees can accurately assess the actual quality of the team of Party branch secretaries, and develop solutions to strengthen, consolidate, and improve the overall skills of the team of Party branch secretaries to meet the requirements of their new responsibilities.

From the beginning of April 2024 until now, the competition for outstanding Party branch secretaries and skilled mass mobilization has been implemented at the grassroots level, ensuring the required quality and progress according to schedule, with the participation of more than 200 Party branch secretaries from 14 grassroots Party committees. The preliminary round of the competition at the district level was successfully held with 14 contestants, from which 8 outstanding contestants were selected to participate in the final round.

The leaders of Thanh Xuan district awarded two second prizes to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc - Secretary of the Party Branch and Principal of Phan Dinh Giot Primary School ( thuộc Party Committee of Thuong Dinh ward) and Mr. Pham Duc Hanh - Secretary of the Party Branch of Giap Nhat residential area ( thuộc Party Committee of Nhan Chinh ward).

“The competition for outstanding Party branch secretaries and effective mass mobilization truly brings valuable knowledge and useful lessons in Party building work, making an important contribution to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, moving towards the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, and is an extremely meaningful activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024)” - Thanh Xuan District Party Secretary Bui Huyen Mai emphasized.

The leaders of Thanh Xuan district awarded two third prizes to Ms. Phan Thi Mui - Secretary of the Party Branch of Tuoi Hoa Kindergarten ( thuộc Thanh Xuan Nam Ward Party Committee) and Mr. Pham Van Lai - Secretary of Party Branch 17 ( thuộc Khuong Mai Ward Party Committee).

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1st prize to Mr. Tran Dinh Nghi - Secretary of Party Branch 6 ( thuộc Party Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward); 2nd prizes to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc - Secretary of Party Branch and Principal of Phan Dinh Giot Primary School ( thuộc Party Committee of Thuong Dinh Ward) and Mr. Pham Duc Hanh - Secretary of Party Branch of Giap Nhat Residential Area ( thuộc Party Committee of Nhan Chinh Ward); and 3rd prizes to Ms. Phan Thi Mui - Secretary of Party Branch of Tuoi Hoa Kindergarten ( thuộc Party Committee of Thanh Xuan Nam Ward) and Mr. Pham Van Lai - Secretary of Party Branch 17 ( thuộc Party Committee of Khuong Mai Ward).

In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 Consolation Prizes; 1 prize for the contestant with the most impressive greeting and 1 prize for the contestant with the best performance in the "People's Mobilization" competition.
