Recently, anti-peeping tempered glass is becoming more and more popular. Compared with the normal transparent film, this type makes the screen dark when viewed from an angle, preventing others from peeping to read the content displayed on the phone.
Samsung may equip the anti-peeping feature directly on the screen of the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone, eliminating the need for users to use protective stickers.
According to tech news site Android Authority , a feature called Private Display was discovered in the source code of the One UI interface. This code describes the function of the feature: "Automatically use Private Screen when you use sensitive apps and in crowded places."
In addition, Samsung's display manufacturing division has recently registered a trademark for this technology under the name "Flex Magic Pixel". A Korean newspaper said that this feature will first appear on Samsung's next flagship model, expected to launch early next year.

Samsung has been detailing the technology since 2024. As the company explains, it is "a technology that adjusts the viewing angle of the screen so that people nearby cannot see it. When combined with appropriate AI technology, it can be used to enhance the security of smart devices."
Reports say this screen-based security technology will use AI to detect when a user is performing a sensitive task in an app. Based on the input, the system will automatically adjust the light from the OLED pixels so that people viewing from an angle cannot see the content on the phone's screen.
The biggest benefit of Flex Magic Pixel technology is that users will not have to spend extra money on anti-peeping tempered glass. On the market, these types of glass have relatively high prices, up to 200,000 - 400,000 VND.
In addition, these stickers also cause the display to be pitted, reducing brightness, sharpness and color, making it difficult to view content from different angles, affecting the user experience and possibly causing eye strain.
With this new display technology, Galaxy S26 Ultra users will not have to sacrifice display quality to ensure privacy. This is a feature that has never appeared on any popular smartphone model.
