After a long absence, the reality TV show “Dad, where are we going?” returns with a cast of artists loved by many audiences: Neko Le, Trung Ruoi, Duy Hung...

This year’s program will take father and son pairs on adventures together – where they build tents, fish, cook, and listen and share feelings that are rarely expressed in everyday life. There, the father learns patience, the son gains courage and confidence. Both grow up in every simple but meaningful moment.

In addition, the journey also opens the door for father-son couples to approach the beauty of local culture - from customs, habits to daily life, thereby arousing love for the homeland and pride in Vietnamese identity.

The destinations in the program are carefully selected, representing the diverse picture of Vietnam’s nature and culture. There, father-son pairs not only experience the beautiful scenery or local challenges, but also immerse themselves in the local lifestyle: eat traditional dishes, learn handicrafts, participate in festivals, listen to rustic yet profound folk stories.

For the first time participating in “Dad, where are we going?”, actor Trung Ruoi and his daughter - Dua (Bao An, 4 years old) - embarked on a special journey that he called an interesting “summer camp” experience for the two of them.

Trung Ruoi said he came to the program without high expectations, simply wanting to give his children a meaningful summer - something that his busy daily work schedule hardly allows.

With the "talented" Neko Le (Le Truong Son) - the director behind the success of many "million view" web-dramas, he accompanies his two daughters: baby Audi (Ngoc Kim, 6 years old) and baby Cati (Kim Ngan, 4 years old).

Neko Le said that what motivated him to join the program was the desire to create a beautiful childhood memory for his children, something that when they grow up, all three of them can look back on with pride and emotion.

Actor Duy Hung - a "gangster" in TV dramas, participated in the program with baby Bean (Duc Anh, 4 years old). He saw this as an opportunity to write a special chapter in his child's childhood.

“I want to create memories with my son so that when he grows up, he can tell his friends: 'Long ago, my dad and I went through a very special journey together,'” Duy Hung shared.

In addition to the main cast, in each journey, the audience of “Dad, where are we going?” will welcome additional guest artist father-son pairs to bring interesting surprises, together spreading the message of family affection and the beautiful values of the journey of father-son bonding.

A completely new highlight of this year’s broadcast season is the appearance of a “dad trainee” – a famous male artist who has no experience in taking care of children in daily life. This artist will have to take on the role of a father himself: cooking, playing, comforting, cleaning and accompanying the children throughout the journey of experience. Currently, the identity of the “dad trainee” is still being kept secret.

Unlike previous seasons, this year, the program kicked off with the series “Apprenticeship Journey” giving father-son pairs who are loved by many audiences on social networks the opportunity to participate in the program.

The Apprenticeship Journey is a special one-day challenge where father and son pairs will overcome unexpected tasks together, testing their ability to accompany and cope in the absence of their mother.

At the end of "The Apprentice Journey," the two names called to the official list are MinHee - the 4-year-old "little interpreter", and Minh Khoi - the 6-year-old "car encyclopedia", two young representatives but possess a respectable number of fans on social networks.

The program is jointly produced by the Department of Culture and Entertainment, Vietnam Television and TV Hub Company, and will be broadcast at 9:00 p.m. every Monday on VTV3, starting from May 19./.
