First Lieutenant Phan Van Vinh, Platoon Leader of Platoon 5, Company 8, Battalion 9, is a strong, calm young officer. He exudes the demeanor of an exemplary commander: speaking little, doing much, always serious in training but approachable and responsible to his comrades. "Hand-to-hand combat" came to him initially as a duty, a mandatory training requirement, but gradually became a great passion, where he constantly strives to improve himself.

Meanwhile, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Nhat Thanh Thanh, a combatant in Platoon 1, Reconnaissance Company 20, impressed with her agility, courage, and the unique, healthy beauty of a female special forces soldier. On the training ground, she is strong and decisive, each move precise and accurate. Outside of training, she is simple, sincere, and full of positive energy.

They met during joint training sessions of the Special Forces, preparing for the unarmed combat competition organized by the Ministry of Defense . Initially, it was just the glances of teammates sharing the same goal, then it developed into respect for each other's talent and determination. From correcting attack and defense techniques, offering technical feedback, to extended training sessions, the distance between them gradually disappeared. Martial arts brought them closer together, binding them with understanding and shared experiences.

In the sports competitions from 2022 to 2024, they stood together on the podium, winning five gold medals in "Hand-to-Hand Combat." Each medal was not only a personal achievement or a source of pride for their unit, but also a testament to their companionship, encouragement, and mutual trust. When one was tired, the other was a source of emotional support; when facing the pressure of competition, they instilled confidence and resilience in each other. Amidst the intense training days, their love grew quietly but firmly, much like how soldiers forge their will through daily hardship. Without dazzling roses or loud promises, their love was nurtured by discipline, responsibility, and the empathy of those who shared the special forces uniform.

In November 2025, the two "martial artists" tied the knot, building a small family on a foundation of trust, respect, and shared ideals.
