Newcastle target 4 strikers to replace Isak

Newcastle are preparing for life without Alexander Isak, with the player reportedly handing in a transfer request to leave this summer.

Daily Mail reports Newcastle have drawn up a list of four potential strikers, including three Premier League players.

Topping the list is RB Leipzig youngster Benjamin Sesko, who has been linked with Arsenal. Newcastle are also targeting three other strikers, Nicolas Jackson, Ollie Watkins and Yoane Wissa.

Leipzig are said to be demanding around £61m for Sesko, while Chelsea value Jackson at £100m. Aston Villa have also stated that Watkins is not for sale at any price.

Wissa is considered the most affordable player in this group. However, Brentford have just rejected a £26 million offer from Newcastle. Wissa is said to be very angry that Brentford did not give him the opportunity to leave.

Newcastle are preparing for the possibility of losing Isak amid strong interest from Liverpool. Arne Slot's side are willing to pay £120m to reach a deal, but Newcastle are demanding £150m.

Isak has rejected a lucrative £600,000-a-week offer from Al Hilal, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Swedish striker insists his wish is to continue playing at the highest level in Europe.

EPL transfer prices: Isak increased sharply, Nunez & Hojlund dropped Isak and Nwaneri increased the most in the market, adding 25 million euros respectively. In contrast, Nunez, Hojlund and Silva suffered a decrease of 15 million euros due to their poor performance.
