On October 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Investigation Police Agency ( Economic Police Department) temporarily detained Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (alias Ngan 98), the operator of ZuBu Trading and Service Company Limited and ZuBu shop business household, to investigate the crime of Producing and trading in counterfeit food products under Article 193 of the Penal Code.

According to the investigation, Ngan established and operated ZuBu Company (in which Ngan's biological mother was the Director) and ZuBu Shop Business Household (in which another person was the Director). In fact, all operational, financial and business activities were directly directed and benefited by Ngan.

Since 2021, Ngan has cooperated with several factories in Hanoi to order the production of health food products for weight loss such as Super Detox X3, X7, X1000. On paper, these are licensed products. However, Ngan has taken advantage of the "free gift" form to sell another product called "Collagen vegetable pills".

Attracting attention with a series of statements and personal images on social networks

Ngan 98's full name is Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan, born in 1998 in Binh Dinh. She is known as a DJ (the person who selects and plays recordings at parties), model, and freelance actress.

Ngan 98 is currently a familiar name in the entertainment industry.

In 2017, Ngan 98 registered to participate in the Brand Face contest but later withdrew because of "poor health and not being able to handle the pressure". In the same year, she acted in the film Xom tro thien duong by director Duong Hoang Vinh and was invited to act in the music video Nho lam gi mot nguoi nhu anh by singer Quang Ha.

In 2018, she appeared regularly in public as a contestant on the show The Face Vietnam.

In October 2019, Ngan 98 attended a professional DJ training course taught by DJ Phuc Nelly. After more than 6 months of training, Ngan 98 performed at various entertainment venues in Ho Chi Minh City.

On social networks, Ngan 98 often becomes the center of attention because of her statements and personal images.

In July 2024, male singer Luong Bang Quang suddenly announced that he had registered his marriage with Ngan 98 on the occasion of their 7th anniversary together, which also attracted attention.

Specifically, in October 2023, Ngan 98 established Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited located in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The enterprise has 85 registered business lines, of which the main registered business line is food wholesale.

At the time of establishment, the company had a charter capital of 1 billion VND, owned by Vo Thi Ngoc Ngan (Ngan 98). By March 2024, the company changed its general director and legal representative.

Currently, Ngan 98 Trading and Service Company Limited is in the process of temporarily suspending business.

Ngan 98 also established ZuBu Company and ZuBu Shop Business Household. This enterprise was mentioned in the recent investigation file. According to the investigation, all operations, finance and business activities were directly directed and benefited by Ngan.

According to the National Business Information Portal, Zubu Trading and Service Company Limited was established in May 2021. Its initial headquarters is at 22 Vo Thi Yen (An Nhon town, Binh Dinh). Its main business line is food wholesale.

The initial charter capital of the enterprise was 200 million VND. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh (born in 1972) holds the position of Director and Legal Representative.

After many changes, the company now has its headquarters at 154 Pham Van Chieu (Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City). In 2022, the company increased its capital to 3 billion VND, the proportion of shareholders contributing capital was not disclosed. By 2024, the position of Director and Legal Representative of the company was changed to another person.

Meanwhile, Mr. Luong Bang Quang is the owner and major shareholder of two businesses operating in different fields and worth tens of billions of dong.

Specifically, in February 2024, DJ Ngan 98's husband and Mr. Ma Tuan Vu established Sugar Group Service Company Limited (Sugar Group) located in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. The business introduced 41 registered business lines, of which the main registered business line is short-term accommodation services with details including hotels, tourist villas, tourist apartments, tourist motels, and houses with rooms for tourists to rent.

After many changes, Mr. Luong Bang Quang currently holds an ownership ratio equivalent to 20% of contributed capital.

In addition, Ngan 98's husband also has Luong Bang Quang Company Limited, established in January 2016, with 9 registered business lines. The main registered business lines are creative, artistic and entertainment activities.

The company has a charter capital of 1.9 billion VND, which has now increased to more than 10 billion VND. Mr. Luong Bang Quang, born in 1982, holds the position of Director and Legal Representative of the company.
