Peak day of Volunteer Soldiers for the beloved juniors of Quang Ninh youth

Implementing the Central Youth Union Secretariat's Guidance on "Guidelines for organizing the Peak Day of Volunteer Soldiers for Beloved Juniors in the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign", on June 11, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Provincial Youth Union Council simultaneously guided and directed 20/20 districts, towns, city unions and affiliated Youth Unions to organize the Peak Day of Volunteer Soldiers "For Beloved Juniors" in the 2023 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Responding to the Peak Day of Volunteering for Beloved Younger Children, Quang Ninh youth simultaneously launched many meaningful activities for children, creating a vibrant emulation movement, attracting a large number of union members, youth and staff in charge of children to participate. In particular, the activities focus on 3 main contents, including: Organizing recreational activities, creative experiences, equipping skills for children; Organizing activities to protect, care for and support children; Constructing works and tasks "For beloved juniors" associated with the implementation of Plan No. 88-KH/TĐTN-TTNTH dated June 2, 2023 of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee on implementing Directive No. 33-CT/TU dated May 29, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee "On strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety; preventing and combating accidents, injuries and drowning; managing and educating children, adolescents and students during the summer in Quang Ninh province".

Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have mobilized over 200 gifts for children in difficult circumstances, presented 05 playgrounds for children, with a total value of over 600 million VND; organized over 50 propaganda activities on the Law on Children, policies and laws related to children; organized medical visits and examinations; life skills classes, skills to prevent and combat abuse, accidents and injuries, drowning, and safety skills in the online environment. Youth teams organized inspections and posted warning signs in areas at high risk of drowning and accidents and injuries to children.

At the launching ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, responding to the Peak Day for beloved juniors, Ha Long City Youth Union awarded 1 playground project at Lan Be Park worth 150 million VND, 4 playground projects at the units: Gieng Day, Ha Khanh, Hung Thang, Dong Son; received 100 English scholarships from Ames Center worth more than 700 million VND.

In Dong Ngu commune, Tien Yen district, the Provincial Police Youth Union organized the Volunteer Soldiers' Day Program for Beloved Juniors in 2023 with practical and meaningful activities such as: presenting 10 study corners, 25 gifts to children and students in difficult circumstances; organizing propaganda on drowning prevention, propaganda on traffic safety education at schools; screening and consulting on eye diseases for more than 300 children, students and people in the area.
