Located in Tan Tien commune, La Gi town, Binh Thuan province, Dinh Thay Thim is a famous spiritual destination, especially in early spring (the 5th day of the first lunar month) when the Thay Thim Tomb Sweeping Ceremony takes place, attracting a large number of locals and visitors from all over the country to participate in the rituals and visit the tomb.

Dinh Thay Thim is a unique architectural complex that attracts a large number of tourists and pilgrims every year. The palace was built to commemorate the merits of Thay and Thim, two legendary figures who are said to have cured people, taught and helped the poor. Early spring is the ideal time to visit the Thay Thim Palace, this is also the time for the Tomb Sweeping Ceremony: On the 5th day of the first lunar month, at the Thay Thim tomb area, the Thay Thim Palace Relic Management Board will organize the traditional rituals of the Thay Thim Tomb Sweeping Ceremony. The second time is the Dinh Thay Thim Festival - Autumn Offering Ceremony (on the 14th - 16th of the 9th lunar month). Every year when the festival takes place, pilgrims from all over the country gather at Dinh Thay Thim very early to visit, offer incense to commemorate the merits of Thay Thim, learn about the history of Thay Thim's virtues and to ask for blessings, pray for peace, do charity work together... also a way to build faith and find peace for the soul. Besides the traditional rituals of the Dinh Thay Thim Festival such as: The ceremony to welcome the gods, the procession of the royal decree and the certificate of recognition of the relic, the ceremony to enter the temple, the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Thay Thim... the festival will have a strong imprint of coastal culture through competitions and fun folk games that excite visitors such as: Cake making competition at Dinh Thay Thim, bird singing competition, tug of war competition, dragon fruit harvesting competition, blindfolded duck catching, blindfolded clay pot smashing, basket carrying competition to the sea, fish carrying competition, net weaving competition...

With the sacred legend of Thay and Thim, a kind couple who always reach out to help the poor, Dinh Thay and Thim has become a spiritual support for thousands of people every year. On spring days, visitors to Dinh Thay and Thim can burn incense, offer gifts, pray before the temple and the tomb of Thay and Thim, wishing for health, peace, and luck for themselves and their families; find peace of mind, and put aside the worries of life.
