According to the Department of Drug Crime Investigation (C04) of the Ministry of Public Security , drugs are a great danger to humanity.

In our country, drugs harm the health and peaceful life of the people; cause pain and loss to many families and communities; give rise to all kinds of crimes, threatening the stability, prosperity and longevity of the nation and people. More dangerously, drugs are creeping into schools, attacking young people, leaving behind heartbreaking consequences.

Artist Xuan Bac believes that today's youth are very creative, talented and create many positive trends. However, why not spread together a trend that everyone wants, which is to promote drug prevention and control.

Always giving priority to community activities, Miss H'hen Niê hopes that society, especially young people, stay away from drugs. "And most of all, don't try drugs even once," Miss H'hen Niê sent a message to the younger generation.

According to C04, drug criminals are complex, dangerous, and increasingly sophisticated, reckless, and daring. Synthetic drugs, addictive drugs, and new types of drugs are appearing more and more, disguised in many sophisticated forms.

Statistics from C04 show that there are currently more than 275 million people using illegal drugs in the world and our country currently has 229,265 drug addicts, illegal drug users, and people under post-rehabilitation management.

Most addicts are unemployed or have unstable jobs, posing a high risk of crime and causing problems with social order and security.

In 2023, the drug crime investigation police force successfully solved 24,765 cases, arrested 38,681 drug criminals, including 26 foreigners. Thereby, they seized 444 kg of heroin, 4.9 tons of synthetic drugs, 81 kg of opium, 500 kg of marijuana, and 330 kg of cocaine.
