Resolution No. 41 - A "special" gift for entrepreneurs

On October 10, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, on behalf of the Politburo, signed Resolution No. 41 on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new era. This is a “special” gift for entrepreneurs on the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day on October 13.

Resolution No. 41 affirms that the team of entrepreneurs has an important position and role, is one of the core forces contributing to promoting the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration; building and developing an independent, self-reliant economy , ensuring national defense and security. The Resolution sets the goal that by 2030, the team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs will have the scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the goals of industrialization and modernization of the country. Strive to have more and more enterprises reaching regional level, some enterprises reaching world level; some large enterprises playing a leading role in key industries and fields; some enterprises having an important position and role in the global supply chain, value chain, mastering some industrial and agricultural value chains, having international competitiveness in basic, priority and spearhead industries. Vision to 2045, develop a team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs with scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the national development goals, high income, position and prestige in the region and internationally; a part of enterprises with world brands, leading a number of global supply chains and value chains.

The Resolution clearly states a number of key tasks and solutions in the coming time to achieve the set goals, such as: Raising awareness of the position and role of the business community in achieving the country's development goals; perfecting policies and laws, creating a favorable, safe and equal investment and business environment for business people and enterprises to develop and contribute. Along with that is developing a strong business community that is equal to the goals and tasks of national development in the new period; building business ethics and culture, promoting national spirit, and arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen solidarity, cooperation and association between business people and workers, farmers and intellectuals under the leadership of the Party; promoting the role of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, organizations representing the business community and enterprises.

At the meeting with entrepreneurs organized by the Government on the afternoon of October 11, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Resolution No. 41 will open the next stage of strong development for our country's entrepreneurs, contributing to building an increasingly strong Vietnamese business community, capable of taking on the pioneering task of realizing the goal and aspiration of turning our country into a developed, high-income country by 2045. The Party, the State and the people are always the fulcrum and trust in the Vietnamese business community to demonstrate its role. The Government and the Prime Minister are committed to always stand side by side, share, encourage and fully absorb the opinions of associations and business communities to build and develop a strong and united business community and entrepreneurs. In the coming time, the Government will effectively implement Resolution No. 41 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese business people in the new era.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - General Director of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned One Member Co., Ltd., Chairman of Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association said: “Resolution No. 41 is like a breath of fresh air in terms of viewpoints, orientations and development solutions for the Vietnamese business community in the coming period. The contents of the resolution have assessed and elevated the role of entrepreneurs in the new situation, in line with the expectations of business people and society. Hopefully, after the resolution comes into effect, the business community and business community of Khanh Hoa in particular and the whole country in general will have more conditions to develop production and business, contributing to enriching the homeland and country and creating jobs for workers".
