Affirming the role of non-public educational institutions
In its guiding viewpoint, Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough development in education and training emphasizes: “Public education is the pillar, non-public education is an important component constituting the national education system”. This is the first time the role of non-public educational institutions has been clearly, fully and strategically affirmed in the entire national education system.
Sharing about this issue, Mr. Pham Sy Liem - Investor, Principal of Quang Trung High School ( Da Nang City) said that Resolution 71 is an important turning point, demonstrating the Party's innovative thinking, affirming the companionship of private schools alongside the public sector in carrying out the mission of developing education and training of the country. "Resolution 71 has added confidence and motivation to non-public institutions. This is the fulcrum for us to be bolder in innovation, creativity, and accompany the public sector for a comprehensive, modern and humane education", Mr. Liem emphasized.

Quang Trung High School is the first private school in Da Nang City, with over 27 years of construction and development. During that journey, the school has not only accompanied the city's education sector in meeting the learning needs of students but also contributed significantly to reducing enrollment pressure for the public sector, especially at the high school level.
According to Mr. Pham Sy Liem, the characteristic of the 10th grade entrance exam in Da Nang and many other localities is that students with good or excellent academic performance often choose to study at public schools. Meanwhile, many students with average or good academic performance choose private schools. "Therefore, private schools such as Quang Trung High School have made an important contribution to helping the Party and State solve the policy of universalization and ensuring fairness in education without the need for state budget," Mr. Liem shared.

Along with public education, Quang Trung High School is also a pioneer in innovating teaching methods. Since 2005, the school has boldly applied information technology to teaching. All paper lesson plans have been converted to electronic lesson plans, along with investing in computer systems, projectors, and large-screen TVs to serve teaching and learning. Currently, 100% of the school's classes are taught using electronic lesson plans, creating a modern, intuitive learning environment, minimizing the need for extra classes and encouraging students to study on their own.

Pioneer in digital transformation of education
Implementing the spirit of innovation according to Resolution 71, Quang Trung High School considers digital transformation in education as a key direction. Over the past years, the school has digitized dozens of textbooks into electronic versions; at the same time, it has built a complete system of PowerPoint lesson plans for all grades according to the 2018 General Education Program.
These steps have brought about clear results. Students at the school are taught with modern methods, easily accessing knowledge, training self-study capacity and adaptability to the increasingly high demands of the 4.0 industrial revolution.

Mr. Pham Sy Liem affirmed: “While many high schools across the country still teach using traditional methods, Quang Trung High School is more than 20 years ahead in applying information technology. This is a breakthrough in education and is also what Resolution 71 has encouraged and oriented”.

The birth of Resolution 71-NQ/TW has added confidence and determination to non-public schools. “The Resolution affirms the important role of non-public education, considering it a component of the national education system. This is a great support for institutions like Quang Trung High School to continue to make efforts, promote strengths, and accompany public education for a comprehensive, modern and humane education,” Mr. Liem emphasized.
