Chinese Foreign Minister to visit Cambodia

According to a press release from the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation today (August 10), during his visit to Cambodia, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay courtesy calls to King Norodom Sihamoni, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen and Dr. Hun Manet, the new Prime Minister of Cambodia.

During the talks, the two sides will focus on a number of issues related to bilateral and multilateral cooperation, reflecting common priority areas.

In addition, Mr. Wang Yi also had separate meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhon and Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Chenda Sophea.

According to the plan, Mr. Wang Yi will visit Singapore from August 10-11, then Malaysia on August 11 and finally Cambodia.
