Bringing classic works back.

“Under the melody of the 'Marching Song,' the entire Vietnamese nation set out together for the long-term resistance war, for independence and freedom, for peace and unity. From then on, on the roads to the battlefield, in the rear or on the front lines, under the 'Night Stars ,' on 'The Road We Travel, ' the songs of hope still resound, the songs of 'We Sing on the Truong Son Mountains ,' songs echoing along the Truong Son East and Truong Son West … and all together singing the song 'We Go to Battle Today,' in the joy of a nation filled with happiness …” This is the musical story that singer Duc Tuan wants to convey to his audience through his album 50. The album was released on April 30th with the desire to pay tribute to the heroes of the country, the people who daily nurture the ever-beautifying nation.

Sharing the same musical theme of patriotism, singer Duong Quoc Hung released the album "Sounds of the Homeland ," part of the "Love Songs for Building the Homeland" project. The album comprises nine heroic songs praising the bravery and sacrifices of countless generations who fought for the freedom and independence of their homeland. Like musical films, listeners are deeply moved by "The Sound of the Zither" (composer Nguyen Dinh Phuc), feel the poignant heroism of "The Homeland" (music: Pham Minh Tuan, lyrics: Ta Huu Yen), find optimism in "Bridge Connecting the Shores of Joy " (Van An); the grandeur of "Melody of the Homeland" (Tran Tien), and the joyful pride of " Song of Unification" (Vo Van Di)... "The combination of modern music with traditional instruments like the zither, lute, and bamboo flute brings a fresh perspective to these timeless songs. Through this, we further spread the spirit of national construction, love, and pride," Duong Quoc Hung shared.

Celebrating proud achievements and love for the homeland through outstanding musical works, singer Quoc Dai launched the art program "Colors of Vietnam ," and singer Doan Dai Hoa released the album "Melodies of Pride ." Quoc Dai shared: "The spirit of fighting for independence has always been passed down through many generations. I want to convey to the audience the message that even during the heroic and tragic years of the nation, the heartfelt melodies and emotions about the homeland and country still resonate – a deep, gentle, yet proud love."

Sing the song of love for peace again.

In recent days, the song "Continuing the Story of Peace" by composer Nguyen Van Chung, performed by singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh, has continuously "caused a sensation" on social media, gaining popularity among audiences and becoming a song accompanying major national holidays. Following this success, at the end of April, the two released a new song , "Swearing an Oath for Peace ."

Composer Nguyen Van Chung shared that he started composing "Continuing the Story of Peace" in 2023 and never imagined its current success. “During my visits to primary schools to interact with the students, standing with them during the flag-raising ceremony, and seeing the red flag with a yellow star illuminated by the morning sun… I came up with the final line for 'Continuing the Story of Peace': ‘Looking at the brilliant sunlight / The national flag fluttering in the wind.’ Later, I happened to hear the news of the victory on April 30, 1975, read by Meritorious Artist Kim Cúc, and when I heard the line, ‘The red flag with a yellow star flutters in the wind on top of the Independence Palace…’, I felt a magical connection across time. For many years of composing, I have wished to write songs that are not limited by age or audience; not limited by time or place of performance; recognized by professionals and audiences alike; music that is vibrant yet deeply moving… I have persistently pursued that ideal in each of my works, considering it my life's goal,” composer Nguyễn Văn Chung shared.

Many other artists also simultaneously released new projects and songs, such as: Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung with "Oh Land, Blooming Flowers" (composed by Nguyen Thanh Trung); Nguyen Phi Hung composed the new song "March of Vietnamese Youth" ; Duong Quoc Hung released the EP "Ho Chi Minh City Rises with the Country" (extended disc); My Hao released two songs , "Because I Am Vietnamese" and "One Homeland "... Among them, the song "Oh Land, Blooming Flowers" by composer Nguyen Thanh Trung, performed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, is a profound tribute to the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers during the historic month of April.

The continuous emergence of numerous projects and musical and artistic works brimming with love for the homeland, faith in the nation's longevity and development, and demonstrating the artists' responsibility, is a highly commendable sign. Each work reflects the artists' unceasing concerns in writing lyrics and melodies that touch upon the depths of the past through the lens of present-day life. The connection between past, present, and future has created a flow of empathy between musicians, singers, and the public, thereby spreading throughout the community and contributing to igniting love for the homeland and the flame of national pride in the new era.
