The Hai Phong Department of Health has just issued an official dispatch requesting cosmetic businesses and users in the city to immediately stop trading and using and return to the supplier 5 batches of cosmetic products that Minh Khuong Trading Company Limited (address at 3A Tran Khanh Du, Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) is responsible for bringing to the market.
The 5 product batches include: Image Skincare The Max Serum 30ml bottle, lot number 416 2D; Image MD Youth Serum 30ml bottle, lot number 424 1N, all from the Image brand; The MaxTM Crème 48g box, lot number 450 4C; Vital C Hydrating Hand And Body Lotion 170g bottle, lot number 8G4N02; Clear Cell Salicylic Gel Cleanser 177ml bottle, lot number LOT 24L06H1, all from the Image Skincare brand.
The above products are all manufactured by Image International Manufacturing, LLC. The reason for the recall is that the labels of the above cosmetic products use phrases that mislead consumers that the product is a drug.
The Department of Health requests the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to preside over and coordinate with the Pharmaceutical Affairs Department to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop trading and using the above 5 batches of cosmetic products and return them to the product suppliers; and recall the violating products. Inspect and supervise the implementing units, and handle violating units (if any) according to current regulations.
