Responsible Influencer – Doing Good Work in the Digital Age

This morning (June 13), at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, a special training program with the theme "Responsible Influencers - Doing Good Jobs in the Digital Age" officially took place with the participation of more than 100 digital content creators (KOLs, KOCs, streamers,...) and representatives of management agencies, businesses, and media.

The program is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center in collaboration with Golden Communication Group, aiming to foster legal knowledge, professional ethics, communication skills and risk management for those working in the field of digital content - a group that is increasingly influential in modern society.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center Nguyen Van Khanh emphasized that in the context of strong online media development, influencers play an important role in guiding public opinion, influencing consumer behavior and brand communication. However, if they lack understanding of the law, information or risk management skills, they can easily get into negative situations, even breaking the law.

“The class is a place to provide authentic information so that digital content creators can understand the law, confidently practice their profession, avoid legal risks and contribute to spreading positive values ​​to the community,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh.

On the side of the accompanying business, which is also the communication unit for many big brands in Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Minh Huong - Director of Golden Communication Group shared: "We understand both sides: customers and content creators. When a promotional campaign has a communication problem - the fault lies not in malice, but in a gap in knowledge. So, instead of waiting for a crisis, we want to proactively contribute to creating more knowledgeable and responsible influencers."

The training program includes many practical contents such as: social roles and responsibilities of influencers; legal regulations related to digital content according to Decree 147/2024/ND-CP on management, use of internet services and provision of information on the network; network security; tax policies and financial obligations of people earning income from digital platforms; communication risk management skills and personal identity protection...

In particular, reporters from Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tax Department, Market Management Department, Department of Culture - Sports and communication experts from Golden will directly share practical situations and advise appropriate solutions for participants.
