During his visits to the disadvantaged areas of Quang Ngai province, former President Tran Duc Luong was always concerned when he learned that there were still families with preferential policies who had not yet been able to stabilize their lives. Every time, he gave gifts to families with preferential policies and war invalids in difficult circumstances, to encourage them to improve their lives.
The former President paid special attention to supporting families of policy beneficiaries and war invalids with housing difficulties, because he believed that "only when you have a stable home can you have a successful career". Thanks to that, many war invalids and poor households have been able to live in decent houses.

In early 2022, with the support of the family of the former President, I was able to build a solid house. Having the life we have today, we are very grateful for the attention of the Party and the State, especially the support of Mr. Luong's family,” said Ms. Thu.
