The recently released trailer reveals the first glimpses of the game, evoking unforgettable memories of the classic version 1.6.

CS: Legacy was built entirely from scratch with custom game code and resources, delivering a fresh look while retaining the spirit of Counter-Strike 1.6 . The development team used Valve's Source Engine 2013, and made significant improvements to graphics, sound, effects, and user interface.
"We wanted to create an authentic and complete remake of Counter-Strike 1.6 , offering fans a familiar yet fresh experience," a representative from the development team shared.
CS: Legacy is more than just a graphical remake. The development team has made extensive technical changes, such as a custom renderer, Physically Based Rendering shaders, a completely rewritten reflection system, and many other supporting tools. All of these improvements aim to deliver a smoother, more realistic, and optimized gaming experience.
The CS: Legacy project is being developed with community support through the Patreon platform. Fans can choose from various support packages, ranging from small contributions to special packages with attractive benefits. The development team is also calling for support from those unable to participate on Patreon through PayPal donations.
The early access version of CS: Legacy will feature five maps familiar to CS fans: Dust2, Nuke, Train, Poolday, and Aim_map. Fans can relive classic matches on these maps with a completely new look.
