At Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, human resource development training activities are regularly updated and innovated with many different organizational forms to keep up with technological developments, requirements for continuous updating of technical and management capacity in the 4.0 revolution.

Implementing the initiative of Vietnam Electricity Group on developing internal teaching staff, Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is gradually building a network of highly qualified training staff in the Company, contributing significantly to improving the effectiveness of human resource training and development.

Every year, the Company organizes training for more than 9,000 employees, of which more than 80% are training programs conducted by internal lecturers through training programs, operational title mentoring, promotion exams, retention exams, E-learning lectures, etc.

Internal training is carried out by a force of managers, specialists, technicians and highly skilled workers throughout the unit. Currently, the Company has 59 officers and employees who have completed the Internal Lecturer Program organized by Power Generation Corporation 1, thereby being equipped with skills in compiling and developing training materials and implementing teaching methods. This is the core force in training and teaching at the Company.

Among them are typical examples such as Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Deputy Manager of the Operation Workshop, who was honored as an Excellent Internal Lecturer at the Vietnam National Electricity Group level; Mr. Le Hoai Nam, a technician of the Automatic Electrical Repair Workshop, who conducted more than 300 hours of teaching with 134 participants, compiled 16 sets of teaching materials and more than 2,000 knowledge questions in 2024; Ms. Phung Thu Ngan, Deputy Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, with the lecture "Lecture on recognizing the use and management of electronic invoices" put into use on EVN's E-learning System...

In the coming time, Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company will continue to develop its internal teaching staff, while promoting the emulation movement of proactive learning, implementing mechanisms to encourage employees to study, train, and improve their qualifications and professional skills.

Also ready for innovation and creativity, responding to the "10 thousand initiatives" program launched by Vietnam Electricity Group, officers and employees of Uong Bi Thermal Power Company always actively participate in emulation movements to promote technical initiatives and rationalize production. The program has created motivation, promoted the initiative and creativity of workers in applying science and technology, improving and perfecting existing technology to increase labor productivity and bring practical benefits in production activities.

For example, engineer Luu Duc Anh, Head of the Software Team of the Automatic Electrical Repair Workshop of Uong Bi Thermal Power Company - represents the youth who is not afraid of hardships, strives to find topics, and is passionate about research, developing and perfecting ideas and initiatives.

In 2022, engineer Duc Anh had 3 technical innovation initiatives recognized (at the Corporation level) and applied to production practices, effectively improving system availability and accuracy, making the units operate stably and reliably, saving costs, and reducing labor.

In 2023, he continued to have 3 more initiatives, of which 1 initiative was recognized by the General Corporation's Review Council, and 2 initiatives are awaiting approval.

In particular, the scientific topic "Research on solutions to directly control high-pressure and low-pressure bypass valves on the distributed control system (DCS) Ovation of the 330 MW unit" of which he is the Head is one of the typical scientific topics that has been accepted, recognized and evaluated by the Corporation as suitable for the actual needs of the unit.

In addition to doing a good job in his professional work, Duc Anh also takes on the role of Secretary of the Youth Union of the Workshop. In movement activities, he always promotes the role of a dynamic, creative youth union member, actively participating in volunteer activities for the community at the Company and the locality.
