On April 21, QQ reported that female model and streamer Thai Na was banned from the Internet after a sensitive image incident.

A few days ago, Thai Na did a live broadcast while traveling in Thailand. When she returned to her hotel room, she did not turn off the camera and went to take a shower. Afterwards, the image of Thai Na in the bathroom was reflected on the TV screen and broadcasted online.

Many viewers reported Thai Na's violations. After censoring and detecting sensitive content, the Douyin platform cut off the broadcast and locked the female model's livestream account.

This incident caused controversy, many people thought that this carelessness was a ploy to attract attention. Therefore, there were many comments criticizing Thai Na on social networks.

According to QQ , not only was her account locked, Thai Na also faced criminal penalties. According to Article 235 of the Chinese Criminal Law, those who broadcast or publicly disseminate obscene images, sounds, or words on the Internet can be imprisoned for up to 2 years and fined 30,000 yuan ( 4,300 USD ).

Thai Na is a famous photo model and streamer on Chinese social media. QQ said she comes from a wealthy background and does livestreaming just to gain fame.
