Eat a lot of fructose

Fructose is found in many fruits, vegetables, honey, soft drinks, candies... After being absorbed into the body, it will be converted into glucose in the liver to create energy.

The liver is the only organ that can metabolize fructose, so when the amount of this sugar is too high, it will burden the liver and can lead to other metabolic problems, increasing the risk of metabolic syndrome and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

High and prolonged blood sugar levels can also damage blood vessels, facilitating the accumulation of fat in the liver, increasing the risk of liver complications.

Too much vitamin A from supplements

Vitamin A plays an important role in body growth, reproductive health, the immune system, maintaining vision... The body can get vitamin A from foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, especially those that are red, orange and yellow.

However, if you consume too much of these foods in a short period of time or take supplements with high doses of vitamin A, it can cause liver problems.

The liver is the main organ responsible for metabolizing and storing vitamin A. When the amount of vitamin A in the body is too high, the liver will be overloaded and unable to process it all, which can lead to inflammation and liver damage.

Trans fats

Trans fats are often found in packaged and fried foods and are created by partially hydrogenating vegetable oils, which helps increase the flavor and shelf life of foods.

A diet high in trans fats makes the body gain weight easily, increases the risk of obesity, accumulates into visceral fat, causes an imbalance in blood fat, and easily leads to metabolic syndrome.

The main place where fat is metabolized is in the liver, so consuming too much food containing this substance will overload the liver, causing excess fat to accumulate, leading to the risk of fatty liver, reduced liver function and possibly progressing to hepatitis or cirrhosis.
