Musician Mai Tran Lam leaves a "double mark" at the songwriting contest about Lang Son

(Dan Tri) - With a deep love for his homeland and country and his musical acumen, musician Mai Tran Lam has won two awards at the same time at the songwriting contest about Lang Son province.

On the evening of May 18, the award ceremony of the songwriting contest about Lang Son province took place in Lang Son city. The contest was organized by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as part of a series of activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

On this occasion, the contest organizers awarded prizes to 11 winning songs, with a total value of up to 90 million VND.

Notably, musician Mai Tran Lam is a rare person to win two awards at this contest. Specifically, his song " Lang Son Ca" won second prize and his song "Hello Lang Son " won an encouragement prize.

Unable to hide his emotions, the musician expressed: "Receiving two awards in such a big competition is not only an honor but also a great source of motivation for me to continue my creative journey. I hope that what I write will live with the people of Lang Son, as a most sincere thank you."

Musician Mai Tran Lam is known for his lyrical, profound and national style of composition.

In this competition, his works continue to promote that strength, not only depicting his passionate love for his homeland but also cleverly incorporating the characteristics of Lang Son, from the cultural identity of ethnic minorities to the modern breath of the northern border region.
