On the afternoon of May 11, Nguyen Van Chung posted a long post on his personal page, sharing about the controversy surrounding the song "Writing the continuation of the story of peace" in recent days. The musician expressed his indignation at a series of defamatory comments, claiming that he had violated copyright, causing the music video "Writing the continuation of the story of peace" performed by Vo Ha Tram and Dong Hung to lose its top 1 trending position on YouTube. Nguyen Van Chung also said that in the past few days, he has been attacked and insulted by many accounts on social media.
“Why would I copyright my own song to get it out of the top 1, when the longer it stays at the top, the higher the views, the more benefits and money I get from sharing copyright revenue?”, the musician wrote.
He added: “I wanted to spread the song. And I actually licensed the song to be covered, performed by many singers, used by many programs, units, schools… I think I don’t deserve to receive negative words, false inferences. I am very tired of these troubles and cannot stay silent.”

The musician said that if the slander and attacks continue, he will seek intervention from the authorities or the platform's administrators. He also sent his thanks to the audience who have understood and supported him throughout the past time.
