Previously, the alleyway in My Son village (Ao Ca route) was only 2.5-3m wide. For many years, this road has been in a state of "dust in the sun, mud in the rain", affecting the lives of local people.
To improve this situation, the People's Committee of Hoa Ninh commune has implemented a plan to construct, renovate and expand intra-field and alley traffic routes in the area. Accordingly, the locality has repeatedly organized meetings with the people, propagandized, mobilized and called for the joint contribution of all people in renovating traffic routes.
Mr. Hoang Nghia Tho, a resident of My Son village (Hoa Ninh commune) excitedly shared that a new, spacious and well-maintained road is what many villagers have been looking forward to. Therefore, when the local authorities promoted and mobilized, the villagers realized the many benefits of opening the road for the development of the commune, so they were very supportive of donating land.
"From a small road being widened to a 5m road, everyone is happy. We are very grateful because the local authorities are very responsible and closely follow up to support and guide the people so that the road is completed and spacious now," Mr. Tho said excitedly.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Kiem, Head of My Son village, said that in 2023, two alley and lane roads in the village were selected for construction and expansion with a total area of 825m2. Regarding the policy of donating land to open roads, this is a movement that has been responded to by the people for many years to contribute to the implementation of the New Rural Development Program from 2012 to present.
Therefore, when the locality had a policy of renovating and expanding the road, the people were very supportive; contributing to the general economic development of the locality as well as bringing many benefits to households in the village.
It is known that with high consensus, people in Hoa Ninh commune have handed over land and architectural structures with a total area of 6,000m2 . Of which, people were mobilized to donate 600m2 of residential land, 5,400m2 of agricultural land and people voluntarily dismantled 1,250m of fence to donate land for road construction. At the same time, many people also contributed counterpart funds to build roads in a voluntary spirit.
According to Mr. Le Duc Thuong, Chairman of Hoa Ninh Commune People's Committee, the locality is making efforts to complete the traffic infrastructure criteria to contribute with Hoa Vang district to complete the urban standard of type 4 and strive to become a town by 2025. At the same time, reviewing the urban criteria and identifying traffic infrastructure as one of the important criteria in striving to become a ward of Hoa Ninh commune.
To complete this criterion, the commune has reviewed all roads that need to be expanded and organized a campaign with the participation of the entire political system. Thanks to that, since the beginning of the year, people have responded to donate land to open roads and implemented construction, renovation and expansion of 8 roads with a total length of 2,870m.
