(CPV) - Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 takes place from December 27 to 29 with the theme "LET'S GO!!! Ba Ria-Vung Tau". The series of activities of "Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024" is rich, taking place continuously in Vung Tau City and Xuyen Moc District, bringing the message of a new experience for tourists every day.


Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 takes place from December 27-29.

On the afternoon of December 6, the Department of Tourism coordinated with the Provincial Tourism Association to hold a press conference to announce the program of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024.

Accordingly, from December 27 to 29, the series of events will be concentrated in the area of Quang Trung Street - Bai Truoc Park (Vung Tau City) including: performances and check-in with hot air balloons, introduction of local cuisine and OCOP products, tourism music festival, kite surfing, paragliding experience, water flying performance - flyboard, "Tuong Ky Mountain Run Challenge 2024" running race along the trail on Big Mountain. Ho Tram - Xuyen Moc area will have a "Green Tourism" pickleball tournament and a golf tournament.

In particular, the opening art program of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024 on the evening of December 27 in a grand musical space, gathering many "hot" music idols among young people such as HIEUTHUHAI, MONO, Suni Ha Linh, Vicky Nhung, Thu Hang, Nhat Hoang, OPLUS group... performed.

A special highlight of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024, which is also an activity to thank tourists, is the program of 1,000 free rooms and free tours of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The program has received positive responses from the tourism business community. Nearly 900 free rooms have been registered by businesses with the Department of Tourism. Of which, there are hotels that have registered for up to 50 free rooms/day and started offering free rooms from December 8.

In addition, some destinations and restaurants have also registered their own programs to respond to Tourism Week such as: The Museum of Ancient Weapons offers free admission for guests staying at hotels that are members of the Tourism Association and guests participating in the free tour of Ba Ria-Vung Tau from December 27 to 29; Ganh Hao restaurant organizes an oyster festival; Petro House Vung Tau hotel opens a buffet of Malaysian dishes... In addition, many businesses have registered to participate in service discounts from 10% to 50%, free buffet tickets, live music every night... to increase added value for tourists.

Acting Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Tran Thi Thu Hien, said that through this series of events, the tourism industry hopes to introduce to domestic and foreign tourists high-quality tourism products, innovation and development of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. This is also a milestone to launch tourism businesses and tourism service establishments in the whole province to implement tourism stimulus programs to welcome the new year and Lunar New Year 2025.../..
