Many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2

On the morning of August 18, comrade Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to reports from departments and branches on preparations for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien chaired the meeting.

Reporting at the meeting, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that during this period, Khanh Hoa province will build a booth to participate in the exhibition of national achievements at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), participate in the culinary space "Green Food Train", virtual reality exhibition and digital map of 34 provinces and centrally-run cities. Also on this occasion, there are many major activities in the province such as: Groundbreaking ceremony of 4 key projects; Art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 at April 2 Square (Nha Trang ward) and April 16 Square (Dong Hai ward) combined with low-altitude fireworks display. In addition, agencies, units and enterprises also organize many cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate, such as: Program "Moving Forward with Vietnam" at April 2 Square (already organized); Southeast Asian Youth Taekwondo Championship and International Club Taekwondo Championship 2025; VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025; Digital Technology Festival ...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien basically agreed with the proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; at the same time, requested to include the Miss Ocean contest in the program, adding some activities such as cultural and culinary weeks, etc. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to advise on the overall plan; on that basis, agencies and units will have detailed plans for each event. He requested departments, branches and localities to promote information and communication work before, during and after the events to create a spread of commemorative activities; pay attention to environmental sanitation, food hygiene and safety, ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting, etc.
