Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Ho Quang Buu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province; Mr. Nguyen Van Dau - Chairman of the Association of Quang Nam - Da Nang in the Southern region; Mr. Mai Phuc - Chairman of the Association of Quang Nam in Ho Chi Minh City along with representatives of local leaders and units in Quang Nam province and more than 1,000 fellow countrymen.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu affirmed that the Quang Nam Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 was held with practical significance, to recognize the efforts and endeavors in production and business activities as well as the enthusiasm in participating in community activities of the people, businessmen, enterprises and artists of the same hometown.
Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, spoke at the opening ceremony.
"To continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and attachment to fellow Quang Nam people, we pledge to continue to accompany and support the creation of the most favorable conditions for the activities of the Quang Nam Association in Ho Chi Minh City. Especially, together we will build this festival with a strong traditional cultural nature and many valuable values for today and tomorrow" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu emphasized.
The program includes 8 meaningful and typical activities such as: Investment Promotion Workshop on Quang Nam in 2024; National Startup Forum "Linking Quang Nam startup ecosystem in the South"; Creative Startup Festival in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2nd time - 2024; Displaying and introducing typical products of Quang Nam and promoting trade;...
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu visited booths of startup products, OCOP and specialties of the province.
At the event, delegates enjoyed art performances imbued with the cultural identity of Quang Nam, such as gong dances by the Ca Dong people in Bac Tra My and Bai Choi singing by artists from Hoi An. The 2024 Festival in Ho Chi Minh City will last until July 21.
